This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a ServiceNow Solution Architect - Service Portal in India.
As a ServiceNow Solution Architect - Service Portal, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Service Portal solutions on the ServiceNow platform for enterprise clients. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable, user-friendly portal solutions. The role involves managing full lifecycle application development, conducting workshops, customizing Service Portal applications, integrating with core modules, and providing technical guidance. You will ensure adherence to ITIL processes and best practices while delivering high-quality solutions. This position offers exposure to innovative projects, opportunities for advanced certifications, and a dynamic, collaborative environment for professional growth.
Accountabilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of ServiceNow Service Portal solutions.
• Conduct requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and analysis to define solution scope.
• Customize Service Portal applications, including Assignment and Approval rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and Access Control Lists.
• Implement integrations with ServiceNow Discovery, Core modules, and other enterprise systems.
• Draft functional requirement documents, use cases, proposals, and statements of work.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize existing ServiceNow portal applications.
• Provide pre-sales technical support, mentorship, and guidance to development teams.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of application development experience in SaaS, PaaS, or enterprise software environments.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on ServiceNow platform experience with in-depth architectural knowledge.
• Strong expertise in Service Portal products and ITIL v3 process implementation.
• Proficiency in programming languages and technologies: JavaScript, Java, HTML, Web Services, PowerShell, Shell Script.
• Familiarity with databases (Oracle, Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL), web servers (Jakarta Tomcat, Apache), and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
• ServiceNow Fundamentals certification required; Implementation Specialist or other module certifications preferred.
• Ability and willingness to pursue advanced ServiceNow certifications and continuous learning.
