Your roleConfigure, and optimize ServiceNow ITOM Discovery and Service Mapping solutions for on-premises and cloud environments. Develop and maintain custom patterns, probes, sensors, and MID Server capacity to ensure robust horizontal and top-down infrastructure discovery. Administer Discovery schedules, reconcile results, and manage anomalies to uphold CMDB data integrity. Define and enforce CMDB alignment with CSDM and enterprise data models, ensuring accurate CI relationships. Integrate Discovery and Mapping with third-party tools (e.g., SCCM, cloud APIs), using REST/SOAP and IntegrationHub. Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and cloud teams to accurately map business services; engage stakeholders in reviewing and validating service maps. Monitor MID Server performance and scale deployments to match enterprise needs. Your profileHands-on ServiceNow ITOM (Discovery & Service Mapping). Profound understanding of CMDB, CSDM, Discovery architectural best practices, and enterprise-scale implementations. Expert in building custom Discovery patterns, probes, sensors, and optimizing mapping techniques (traffic, tag, and predictive intelligence). Strong scripting skills (JavaScript, Glide API), Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP API integrations.
