ServiceNow Developer



Are you a ServiceNow Developer? This is an exciting opportunity to join our organization as we continue to evolve as a trusted partner across multiple industries. We are looking for a talented ServiceNow Developer to join our team.


As a ServiceNow Developer, you will play a critical role in the design, deployment, and maintenance of our ServiceNow environment. You will work on a variety of use cases, including ITSM, CSM, Portal, Workspace, ITOM, Virtual Agent, and integrations with third-party systems. This role offers the chance to contribute to innovative automation initiatives and shape the future roadmap of ServiceNow solutions within our organization.

Responsibilities:



Design and develop automation solutions in ServiceNow aligned with ITSM, CSM, ITOM, and Virtual Agent capabilities. Configure and enhance Service Portal and Workspace experiences to optimize usability and performance Develop and maintain custom scripts (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions) and Flow Designer automations to meet business requirements. Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, Boomi) using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and MID Server. Collaborate on Now Assist and Virtual Agent configurations to streamline user interactions and service delivery. Support version upgrades, instance clones, and platform maintenance activities ensuring minimal downtime and compliance with governance policies. Provide expertise in system architecture, platform optimization, and best practices for scalable and secure implementations. Ensure configuration and customization comply with SOX and IT General Controls requirements. Prepare and maintain documentation for design, development, testing, and deployment processes. Perform thorough testing, debugging, and quality assurance for all developed components. Collaborate with Enterprise Applications and IT teams on multi-system projects and integrations. Contribute to continuous improvement and propose best practices across ServiceNow solutions.

Skills Required:



ServiceNow Certification (CSA / CAD / ITSM / CSM) a plus. 3+ years of hands-on development experience with ServiceNow. Strong expertise in ITSM, CSM, Portal, Workspace, Integrations, RPA, ITOM, Virtual Agent, and Now Assist. Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and ServiceNow API scripting. Hands-on experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and UI Frameworks. Experience supporting version upgrades, patching, and instance clone management. Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for complex platform issues. Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience working in sprint-based development. Familiarity with platform security (ACLs, roles, data policies) and CMDB structure. Knowledge of NetSuite a plus. Knowledge of Salesforce a plus. Knowledge of Boomi is a plus.
