Description

The ServiceNow Developer must have experience in ITSM, ITBM, Web services and strong process knowledge. Should have worked on end to end Implementation projects on ServiceNow platform. Overall, the Developer should have very deep technical abilities, a sound understanding of ServiceNow platform capability, and experience in governance and management of the tool.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Developer is responsible for designing, configuring, developing, fixing and implementing baseline and custom applications to improve the platform by using good practice web programming techniques to configure robust solutions. Provide software coding and customization including, but not limited to: screen tailoring, workflow administration, report setup, data imports, integration, scripting, third party software integrations, and custom application development Ability to capture and analyze business requirements and document technical solution Research new functionality and recommend solutions that deliver customer value Analyze, diagnose, and resolve software bugs applying approved procedures. Update and maintain a comprehensive testing protocol for ServiceNow instance upgrades with the purpose of certifying all applications for use after the upgrade completes. Successfully plan, implement, control, and close all technical tasks related to configuration and implementation of all aspects.

Required Skills & Experience:

5+ experience in implementing end-to-end Service Catalog, Incident Management, Knowledge Management, Configuration & Asset Management, Change and Release Management. 5+ years on Agile framework Experienced with Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Scripted Web-Services, AJAX, JavaScript, SOAP, REST, MID Server Setup and Integration of ServiceNow to Other Applications Works with Platform and Project Management teams to ensure improvements are delivered completely, accurately, and timely. Experience in implementation of Service Portal with good knowledge of AngularJS When need be should be able to mentor Offshore junior resources and contractors to address technical gap. Effectively manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail on each project. Adaptable to change and able to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills Hardworking, collaborative, and positive behavior.

Academic Qualification:

* Bachelor degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
