Description and Requirements



Lenovo is seeking a

Junior ServiceNow Developer

to support ongoing development, configuration, and enhancement of ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the ServiceNow platform, be eager to learn, and work closely with senior developers, architects, and business analysts to deliver high-quality solutions for global customers.

Key Responsibilities



Assist in the

development, configuration, and customization

of ServiceNow applications, including modules like

Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, and CMDB

. Work with

Senior Developers and Architects

to design and implement workflows, business rules, and integrations. Support

Service Portal development

, including widgets, client/server scripting, and UI customization. Participate in

requirement analysis sessions

and translate functional needs into technical tasks. Perform

unit testing, UAT support, and issue resolution

during implementation and post-deployment phases. Maintain clear and concise

technical documentation

for developed features. Support integration activities with external systems using

REST/SOAP APIs

. Troubleshoot and resolve

application issues

, including root cause analysis. Contribute to

continuous improvement initiatives

and ServiceNow best practices.

Required Skills



2-4 years of

hands-on experience

in ServiceNow development. Strong understanding of ServiceNow concepts such as

Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, and Catalog Development

. Familiarity with

Service Portal

development (widgets, HTML, CSS, AngularJS). Exposure to

REST/SOAP integration

with external systems. Good understanding of

ITSM modules

(Incident, Change, Problem, Request). Basic knowledge of

database concepts (SQL)

. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a global, cross-functional environment.

Preferred Skills



ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator)

certification (preferred).

ITIL Foundation

certification (preferred). Experience with

Agile / Scrum methodologies

. Exposure to

Performance Analytics or Discovery

is a plus.
