The Senior ServiceNow Administrator will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and optimization of multiple ServiceNow instances across development, test, and production environments. This is a technically focused, hands-on role that will manage day-to-day platform operations, ensure stability and security, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The Senior Administrator will work closely with VJ and the Ashurst team--who own the ServiceNow licenses and environments--to ensure seamless coordination and alignment across systems. The role also provides technical advice on access, security, and best practices to maintain a controlled, compliant ServiceNow ecosystem.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administer, configure, and maintain multiple ServiceNow instances (Dev, Test, Prod) ensuring consistent performance, stability, and data integrity.
Collaborate with VJ and Ashurst to manage and support their ServiceNow environments, adhering to governance and security policies.
Lead platform upgrades, patches, and releases, ensuring minimal disruption and compliance with organizational standards.
Develop and maintain workflows, automation, integrations, and reports to support IT service delivery processes.
Oversee user management, roles, access controls, and security configurations, providing expert guidance on best practices.
Support and enhance ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, CMDB) and other implemented applications.
Coordinate with developers, process owners, and business stakeholders to implement scalable solutions that follow ITIL and ITSM standards.
Identify and execute process automation opportunities through Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.
Perform regular audits to maintain data quality, configuration compliance, and CMDB accuracy.
Provide technical mentoring and serve as the escalation point for complex ServiceNow issues.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
6+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Administrator in enterprise or multi-instance environments.
Demonstrated hands-on experience building, managing, and maintaining multiple ServiceNow instances (Dev/Test/Prod).
Strong understanding of access control (ACLs), roles, and security administration within ServiceNow.
Proven experience supporting platform integrations, automation, and performance tuning.
Expertise in ITSM modules and understanding of ITIL-aligned processes.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required; CIS - ITSM or other advanced certifications preferred.
Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
Experience collaborating with external partners or vendors in shared-environment setups is an advantage.
