Service Transition Co-Ordinator
Purpose:
The primary function of the Service Transition Co-ordinator will be to maintain full ownership and control of the Operational System (OS) Patching Programme for the Clinisys customer base, housed in our Hosting Partner (Telefonica Tech) Data Warehouse, as well as "on prem" sites.
You will be responsible for all aspects of delivering the on-going OS Patching programme, including full risk, financial, commercial and business management activities.
Additional functions managed by Service Transition, will be incorporated into this role going forward.
A highly collaborative role working with stakeholders across the business and clientele that ensures our customers receive a high level of service and engagement, with minimal disruption to Services.
Essential Functions:
Managing and maintain OS Patching Playbook for Clinisys customers hosted within our hosting partners Data Warehouse.
Work with representatives from various departments, ensuring all patching requirements are resourced in an effective and timely manner.
Work with representatives from our Hosting Partner ensuring all patching requirements are resourced as expected.
Chair each of the patching window Teams bridge calls and maintain the Server Tracker.
Document and log any issues that arise from each of the Patching windows.
To be responsible for managing the life-cycle of the Request for Change.
Work with the Service Transition team to support the on-boarding process for new customers and create the associated documentation.
Work with Head of Service Transition and Technical Resource to introduce and improve Patching Run books for each of the customers hosted in the data centre.
To be responsible for the decommission of any Servers, that are no longer required.
Assist with the continual review of the OS patching programme and recommend actions to improve performance.
Continual review of the Technical Resources to ensure they have the required skill set.
Understanding the OS Patching requirements for the on-boarding of any new Products/Services.
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
To attend/organise attendance of agreed meetings with Telefonica and Customer base.
