The Service Technician will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and documenting the condition of DOA (Dead on Arrival)/Warranty stock of boAt Accessories & Fastrack Smartwatches received at the company's Chennai office. This role involves hands-on technical assessment to identify functional issues, damages, or manufacturing defects, and coordinate with relevant internal teams for further processing.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect incoming Warranty Units and related equipment for defects, damage, or operational failures.
Perform detailed diagnostics to determine the root cause of issues.
Document inspection findings with detailed reports and photographs.
Communicate technical findings to the service and logistics team.
Coordinate with the quality control and vendor teams for return, repair, or replacement processes.
Maintain accurate records of DOA inventory, inspections, and resolutions.
Ensure that safety and quality standards are consistently met.
Provide recommendations for process improvements to minimize DOA incidents.
