Job Description

The Service Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing vehicles to ensure their optimal performance and safety. The role involves diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing routine servicing, and ensuring all work meets manufacturer and company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform regular maintenance services such as oil changes, brake adjustments, tire rotations, and filter replacements. Diagnose vehicle malfunctions using diagnostic tools and equipment. Repair or replace faulty parts in engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and other vehicle components. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential issues. Follow standard repair procedures as per manufacturer guidelines. Ensure all repairs are completed on time and meet quality and safety standards. Maintain accurate service and repair records. Communicate effectively with the Service Advisor regarding job progress and required parts. Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations. Attend technical training sessions to stay updated with the latest automotive technologies.

Skills and Qualifications:

ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering. 1-3 years of experience as an automobile technician or mechanic (preferred). Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques. Familiarity with modern diagnostic tools and software. Ability to read and understand technical manuals and wiring diagrams. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Physically fit and able to handle workshop tools and equipment.
