Job Summary:

The Forklift Service Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing forklifts and other material-handling equipment. The technician ensures that all equipment operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company and manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in forklifts and related equipment.

Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on forklifts (diesel, electric, LPG).

Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.

Replace or repair defective parts such as motors, cylinders, control panels, and wiring.

Maintain accurate service and repair records.

Ensure all work is completed following safety standards and company procedures.

Respond promptly to on-site service calls and breakdowns.

Communicate effectively with customers and the service coordinator regarding job status.

Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.

Qualifications & Skills:

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automobile Engineering.

Minimum 2-4 years of experience in forklift or heavy equipment maintenance.

Good knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Valid driving license (preferred).

Work Conditions:

Field and workshop-based role.

May require travel to client sites.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
