The Service Technician will be responsible for on-site installation, service support, and maintenance of machines. The role includes assisting senior engineers, resolving technical issues, and ensuring smooth machine operation for customers.
Key Responsibilities
Perform on-site installation, servicing, and routine maintenance of machines.
Assist in diagnosing and resolving basic mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues under supervision.
Conduct preventive maintenance activities such as lubrication, alignment, and replacement of wear parts.
Support machine trials, testing, and handover procedures after service or repair.
Maintain accurate records including service checklists, job cards, and spare parts usage.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain site discipline during all service activities.
Coordinate with Junior/Senior Service Engineers for escalation of complex technical issues.
Ensure timely service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Requisite Skills
Hands-on experience with tools and equipment used for installation.
Quick learner with ability to understand technical instructions.
Good communication skills.
Willingness to travel extensively (up to 75% PAN India).
Ability to work under pressure and within deadlines.
Desired Skills
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Good problem-solving skills.
Customer service orientation.
Ability to understand and speak local languages; English is an added advantage.

ITI - Electrical
Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical
BE/B.Tech - Electrical/Mechanical
Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience in service/installation roles.
