Job Summary

The Service Staff is responsible for delivering excellent customer service to guests, ensuring a pleasant dining or hospitality experience. This role includes greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring guest satisfaction in accordance with hotel standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Service

Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables or designated service areas. Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations. Take orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar. Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally. Assist guests with special requests, dietary needs, or hotel-related information. Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction through attentive and friendly service.

Operational Tasks

Prepare tables, service stations, and dining areas before and after service. Set up linens, cutlery, glassware, and other service items. Handle billing and payment transactions accurately. Refill water, beverages, and condiments as required. Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.

Cleanliness & Safety

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dining and service areas. Follow hotel safety and sanitation standards at all times. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management.

Teamwork & Coordination

Work collaboratively with colleagues and support team members during busy periods. Attend team briefings, training sessions, and service updates. Follow instructions from supervisors and assist with other hotel duties when needed.

Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (hospitality training preferred). Previous experience in hospitality or F&B service is an advantage. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Polite, professional, and customer-oriented attitude. Ability to work in fast-paced environments and handle pressure. Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards. Ability to stand for long hours and carry trays or service items.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
