Job Title Service & Solutions Architect - Technical Writer Job Title Services & Solutions Architect / Technical Writer #LI-PHILIN Your Challenge As a Services & Solutions Architect / Technical Writer you will play a pivotal role in the creation and continuous enhancements of commercial service offerings all through their life cycles. The services in our domain focus on healthcare operations and are largely data-driven consultancy services, often they are supported by software. One of the key objectives of our services is to support healthcare providers to improve their operational performance. The Services & Solutions Architect / Technical Writer defines the service that enables the interactions and experience for the offering, using technologies and services from Philips and potentially external partners. Together with other domain experts you will be developing the services products while also matching the user and business requirements. In this role you will really have an impact. You can drive customer experience for our different types of customers, but also our internal users who are key to providing an excellent customer experience. As we are in the healthcare domain quality is one of our key drivers, this means that correctly documenting the design and development needs to be ensured. As you ensure smooth delivery of our services throughout their life cycle, you will contribute to improving people\'s lives. Together with a cross functional team including Designers, Operations Engineers, and Marketeers you work on meaningful innovations and bring new ideas to life! The role of Services & Solutions Architect / Technical Writer is a broad role and the detailed responsibilities will vary a bit based on the nature of the projects you will be assigned to. Overall, it will include the following responsibilities: Your responsibilities: Design the end-to-end service delivery process for new service propositions Define and specify the right service concept for end-to-end service delivery e.g. through organizing workshops and review sessions with different stakeholders You create and design new product documentation (end-user materials like playbooks, guides, and other supporting materials) which explain the service delivery process for the intended users in the best way possible You ensure the product documentation offers excellent user experience while also ensuring requirements are covered You ensure that released service propositions remain relevant over their life cycles by incorporating any change required to the product documentation While working on our product information you ensure high levels of quality and consistency, e.g. by performing thorough reviews and verification You ensure your deliverables fulfill the requirements and meet the scope of the service and perform checks and optimization activities to ensure best fit according to priorities and evaluation criteria Build understanding of a status quo and understand gaps for a \'future state\' by conducting interviews and other requirements-elicitation sessions with subject matter experts Focus and strive for re-use of existing (reference) architectures and platforms as well as lower level re-usable elements You maintain and keep good focus on version control changes through multiple iterations Play an active role in our Release Planning Events and other planning events You question and you challenge others to question traditional ways of working, overcome barriers to change and to adapt quickly to new, changing environments You maintain a climate of trust, openness, integrity, honesty and objectivity and role models a can-do mentality. Your Team This role will be a part of the Services Innovation organization within Philips, located in Bangalore, India. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience: Master\'s degree in a Technical field At least 5-10 years working experience, of which more than 5 years in a relevant role (e.g. Technical Writer, Business Analyst, Service & Solution Architect) Demonstrated experience as a technical writer. Throughout your career you have created and maintained product documentation, e.g. manuals, guides, playbooks, SOPs Excellent English-language technical/professional writing capabilities are a must Experience in technical writing through XML authoring (e.g. ST4) is a pre Experience in verification processes is considered a pre Knowledge about change management processes, and experience in following strict development processes while being under strict dead lines Demonstrated experience in modeling and documenting workflows or business processes in a clear, unambiguous, and intuitive way, by using e.g. Microsoft Visio or Adobe tools Experience in facilitating information-gathering and review sessions (live workshops, 1-1 discussions, and remote sessions) You have a passion for healthcare in, more specifically on the services domain within healthcare. Experience in Service Development or Service Innovation is a pre Strong stakeholder management capabilities Taking ownership and responsibility to deliver on timelines.
