Background & Experience

1. Industry Familiarity

Material handling equipment*, capital goods, or industrial machinery servicing.

Exposure to service-based sales and AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract)models is a plus.
2. Work Experience

7-12 yearsin operations or service management.
Proven track record in managing technical teams and coordinating field service calls*.

Experience setting up inventory control systems(ERP, barcode tracking, reorder levels).
Knowledge of customer service escalation handling*.

3. Core Skills

Inventory Management:Implementing reorder systems, reducing stock-outs, and avoiding overstock.
Team Training & Technical Development:Ability to upskill technicians through structured training modules and on-site mentoring.
Outstanding Payments Recovery:Coordinating with accounts & sales for faster collections without souring client relations.
Service Process Optimization:Reduce downtime between issue reporting and solution delivery.
Vendor & Supplier Coordination:Ensure timely parts procurement.
4. Personality & Work Style

Calm under pressure, decisive, and solution-focused*.

Hands-on -- willing to step in on-site if needed.
Strong communication skills for both customers and technicians*.

Process-minded -- loves checklists, tracking dashboards, and daily progress reviews.
