Essential Job Functions:
Product Roadmap Execution

• Plays the "Architect Lead" role for initiatives, projects (Waterfall), and Epics/ARTs (Agile) executed within the assigned Product Line.
• Provides architectural guidance and leadership to Product Teams on complex solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with Givaudan's long-term objectives.
• Collaborates with other Solution Architects across Products within the Product Line, Digital Solution, and Horizontal teams to integrate Enterprise, Solution, Information, and Technology architecture viewpoints, designing solutions that deliver measurable business value.
• Validates Solution Architecture to ensure compliance with established Enterprise Architecture (EA) principles, standards, and guidelines.
• Engages with Enterprise Architects to ensure initiatives, projects, and Epics/User Stories help bridge the gap between current and target Business Capabilities.
• Owns the creation and completeness of the Solution Architecture Design (SAD) document, coordinating inputs from all relevant architecture roles.
• Responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of new and modified solutions in MEGA for assigned Product Lines/Products.
• Ensures technical and functional dependencies and impacts are thoroughly assessed and managed across relevant IT stakeholders, including security considerations.
• Coordinates with Enterprise Architects to maintain architectural coherence across Cross-Product, Cross-Vertical (Digital Solutions), and Cross-Horizontal (IT&O, Information Security, Data & Analytics) initiatives.
• Owns the Architecture Decision Record (ADR): conducts high-level requirement analysis, identifies viable architectural scenarios, and leads solution assessments (reuse, buy, or build).
• Guides engineers and technical communities to adopt and implement solutions using the most suitable and up-to-date technology stack.

Qualifications:
Credentials & Experience

• Required Higher Education completed preferably with a degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Minimum of 8+ years of professional working experience within the field of Solution architecture
• Skills
• Familiar with Architecture Frameworks and development/operational methodologies (e.g., ITIL, ITSM ...) with excellent knowledge of information systems, related moClienting methods & tools
• Good understanding of Innovation approaches and methodologies (Design Thinking, lean Start-up, ...)
• Good knowledge of MSA, Backend & Front End technologies and Mobile technologies
• Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT and predictive analytics.
