Job Description

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to help in requirements gathering and ensure alignment of CMDB solutions with business goals.
• Maintain and manage the CMDB database, ensuring that all configuration items are accurately recorded and updated. This includes regular audits and data validation to guarantee the integrity of the CMDB.
• Develop and implement integration solutions between the CMDB and other IT systems. This involves automating data collection and updates to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Analyze CMDB data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement. Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights to stakeholders and support decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance CMDB-related processes. Ensure that best practices are followed and continuously seek ways to optimize workflows.
• Work closely with various departments, including IT, operations, and business units, to understand their needs and ensure the CMDB supports their objectives. Foster strong relationships to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
• Provide training and support to users of the CMDB, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to utilize the system effectively. Address any issues or concerns that arise and provide solutions promptly.
