Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the service workshop.
Allocate jobs to technicians and monitor progress.
Ensure adherence to OEM (manufacturer) service standards and guidelines.
Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and ensure timely delivery of serviced vehicles.
Monitor quality of repairs, reduce repeat complaints, and ensure zero errors.
B. Customer Management
Address customer queries, complaints, and escalations efficiently.
Maintain high customer satisfaction and retention rate.
Conduct service reminders, follow-ups, and post-service feedback calls.
Ensure transparency in billing and accurate estimation of job costs.
C. Revenue & Performance
Achieve monthly service targets--labor revenue, spare parts sales, AMC, RSA, etc.
Promote value-added services, service packages, and extended warranties.
Control workshop expenses and manage profitability.
D. Team Management
Supervise and train Service Advisors, Technicians, and Helpers.
Conduct skill development sessions and ensure team performance.
Maintain discipline, productivity, and a safe work environment.
E. Inventory & Documentation
Coordinate with parts department for required spare parts availability.
Ensure correct documentation of service jobs, warranty claims, insurance work, etc.
Maintain service records and prepare weekly/monthly performance reports.
F. Compliance & Quality
Ensure compliance with company, OEM, and safety standards.
Conduct regular audits and implement process improvements.
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the workshop area.
