Job Title: Works Manager / Service manager - Car showroom
Location: Coimbatore
Experience: Minimum 5years
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations of the service department, including scheduling, workflow, and productivity.
Lead and supervise a team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
Ensure timely and high-quality repairs and maintenance of vehicles.
Monitor and achieve service department targets (revenue, profitability, customer satisfaction).
Handle customer queries, complaints, and ensure top-notch service experience.
Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
Ensure adherence to OEM standards and company policies.
Provide training, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members.
Monitor KPIs such as turnaround time (TAT), repeat jobs, and first-time fix rate.
Collaborate with the sales and parts departments for smooth inter-departmental coordination.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive service operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of automobile service practices, diagnostics, and workshop management.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
