Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations of the service department.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely and quality service.
Supervise service advisors, technicians, and support staff for smooth workflow.
Monitor workshop productivity, job card flow, and service turnaround time (TAT).
Handle warranty claims, goodwill requests, and manufacturer policies effectively.
Implement service standards, process improvements, and team training.
Coordinate with OEMs for technical updates, audits, and customer feedback.
Manage service targets, cost control, and profitability.
Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, and quality standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma or Degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
Minimum
7-10 years
of experience in automobile service operations, with at least
2-3 years
in a Service Manager role.
Strong knowledge of 4-wheeler systems, diagnostics, and service procedures.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Customer-centric approach with focus on team motivation and performance.
