Job Description

Should be strong in the BS6 Engine / Salary negiotiable Oversee the maintenance and repair of a commercial vehicle fleet, including trucks, buses, or specialized vehicles, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.

Preventive Maintenance:

Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize breakdowns and extend vehicle lifespan.

Breakdown Management:

Manage and coordinate emergency repairs and breakdowns, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.

Team Leadership:

Supervise and motivate a team of mechanics, technicians, and support staff, fostering a productive and safe work environment.

Cost Optimization:

Develop and implement strategies to minimize maintenance costs, including parts procurement, labor, and downtime.

Compliance:

Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, including safety standards, emission norms, and other legal requirements.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance and repair activities, including service schedules, parts usage, and cost data.

Budget Management:

Prepare and manage the annual operating budget for the maintenance department.

Vendor Management:

Coordinate with OEMs, service centers, and spare parts vendors for warranty claims, AMC, and procurement
