The Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service department at Roverz MotorBikes, ensuring customer satisfaction, efficient service delivery, and achievement of service targets. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, technical, and communication skills to manage the service team effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
Ensure smooth workshop operations, timely vehicle delivery, and quality service standards.
Monitor service revenue, productivity, and customer satisfaction levels.
Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure prompt resolution.
Maintain records of service jobs, warranty claims, and periodic maintenance schedules.
Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
Implement service process improvements and ensure adherence to OEM guidelines.
Coordinate with the spare parts department to ensure parts availability.
Ensure safety and cleanliness in the workshop area.
Prepare and submit service reports and MIS data to management.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's/Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
3-6 years of experience in a two-wheeler dealership or service industry.
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in service management systems and MS Office.
Excellent communication and customer handling skills.
