We are hiring a Service Head to manage and support our after-sales service operations across India for industrial machinery and dairy equipment. This role is responsible for coordinating service activities, supporting installations, managing service engineers, and ensuring effective customer support.
The position requires strong technical knowledge, team coordination skills, and the ability to train service engineers, dealers, and customers on machine operation and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate a pan-India service team of service engineers.
Support machine installation, commissioning, and technical demonstrations.
Ensure timely response and resolution of service and maintenance requests.
Oversee spare parts coordination and basic inventory planning.
Train internal service engineers, dealers, and customers on machine usage and maintenance.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth service operations.
Maintain service records and submit regular reports to management.
Visit customer locations for installations, service support, or training when required.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Diploma or Degree in Electronics or a related technical field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in service or maintenance roles within industrial machinery or equipment manufacturing.
Prior experience in handling and guiding a service team is preferred.
Good technical knowledge of installation, servicing, and troubleshooting of electronic or industrial equipment.
Ability to communicate clearly with customers, dealers, and internal teams.
Willingness to travel within India as required.
Proficiency in English and Hindi.
