Job Description

The General Manager - Service is responsible for managing the entire service department of the bike showroom, including workshop operations, service quality, customer satisfaction, team management, and profitability. The GM ensures adherence to standards, proper resource utilization, and efficient service processes.

Key Responsibilities

:

Service Operations

:

Oversee day-to-day operations of the service workshop and reception. Monitor job card opening, repair work, quality check, vehicle delivery, and invoicing. Ensure compliance with service process and standards. Supervise periodic maintenance, general repairs, and warranty jobs.

Customer Satisfaction (CSI)

:

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective handling of complaints and timely delivery. Analyze and improve Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores. Implement customer feedback systems and loyalty programs.

Team Management

:

Manage and motivate the service team, including Service Advisors, Technicians, Floor Supervisors, and Washing/Polishing Staff. Conduct regular training and skill development sessions. Set individual and team KPIs and monitor performance.

Revenue & Profitability

:

Achieve service revenue, labour sales, and spare parts sales targets. Control expenses and improve productivity and efficiency in operations. Identify and promote value-added services (e.g., AMC, Extended Warranty, Accessories fitting).

Spare Parts & Inventory

:

Coordinate with the Spare Parts Manager to ensure availability of fast-moving and critical parts. Monitor inventory turnover, pilferage, and stock ageing.

Reporting & Coordination

:

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on workshop performance. Coordinate with the sales and insurance departments for PDI, free service, insurance claims, etc. Liaise with service managers for audits, updates, and warranty processes.

Compliance & Safety

:

Ensure all safety protocols and environmental norms are followed in the workshop. Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and branding in the service area as per standards.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
