Job Description

The Service Engineer will be responsible for installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of infection prevention and air quality monitoring equipment across customer sites in India. This role requires a strong electrical and electronics background combined with excellent customer service skills. The engineer will serve as the technical face of Lisamed, ensuring high customer satisfaction through prompt, professional service delivery. Additionally, the role includes responsibility for assembly of UVMED surface disinfection systems at the Bhiwandi warehouse facility. 2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 2.1 Installation & Commissioning o Install and commission UVMED UVGI surface disinfection systems at customer sites (hospitals, clinics, dental facilities, IVF centers, pathology labs) o Install air purification systems (Genano, Fellowes AeraMax, Airinspace, Light Progress) including electrical connections, mounting, and initial setup o Install and calibrate Aeroqual air quality monitoring systems with sensor integration o Conduct functional testing and performance verification post-installation o Provide on-site user training on equipment operation, safety protocols, and basic troubleshooting o Complete installation documentation including site readiness checklists, commissioning certificates, and handover reports 2.2 Preventive & Corrective Maintenance o Execute scheduled preventive maintenance as per OEM guidelines and customer AMC agreements o Perform UV lamp replacement, filter changes (HEPA, activated carbon, pre-filters), and sensor cleaning for all product lines o Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and mechanical failures using multimeters, diagnostic software, and circuit diagrams o Repair or replace faulty components including control boards, sensors, UV ballasts, power supplies, motors, and fans o Conduct root cause analysis for recurring failures and recommend corrective actions
