Job Description

Purpose of Job:

The Service Engineer is responsible for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of motors used in windmill applications. The role requires hands-on technical expertise, on-site support, customer coordination, and ensuring smooth operation of motors and associated electrical/ mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Installation & Commissioning

Perform installation and commissioning of machines/equipment at customer premises.

Ensure proper alignment, wiring, calibration, and system checks.

Complete installation reports and handover documentation.

B. Service & Maintenance

Attend customer breakdown calls and perform root-cause analysis.

Conduct preventive maintenance as per schedule.

Replace defective parts, adjust system settings, and ensure machine performance.

C. Technical Support

Provide on-site technical support and guidance to customers.

Train customer operators on machine usage and safety procedures.

Escalate unresolved issues to the senior/technical team.

D. Documentation

Maintain service reports, job sheets, installation checklists, and warranty records.

Update service logs in ERP/CRM system.

Report field issues and customer feedback to the service head.

E. Coordination

Coordinate with stores for spare parts availability.

Work closely with production/QC teams for technical solutions.

Follow company protocols, customer visit plans, and safety instructions.

Technical Skills

Knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems.

Ability to read engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.

Troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, or control issues.

Experience with tools, instruments, and testing equipment.

Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
