The ideal candidate will manage service teams, ensure timely maintenance and repairs, and uphold excellent customer satisfaction. You will be instrumental in optimizing system uptime, managing warranties, and ensuring safety and compliance with solar PV standards.
Responsibilities:
Team Management:
Lead, train, and supervise a team of service technicians and support staff.
Assign tasks, monitor performance.
Service Operations:
Oversee O&M (Operations & Maintenance) for residential, commercial, and industrial solar installations.
Ensure timely resolution of service tickets, system faults, and performance issues.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
Customer Support:
Work closely with clients to ensure satisfaction and clarity on service-related activities.
Technical Oversight:
Troubleshoot and guide technical teams on inverter, battery storage, and PV system issues.
Collaborate with engineering and installation teams to improve system reliability.
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure compliance with industry standards, electrical codes, and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records of all service activities, reports, and warranties.
Vendor & Warranty Management:
Track system warranties and service contracts for timely renewals or claims.
Process Improvement:
Analyse service data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Optimize workflows and tools to enhance team efficiency and customer experience.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) or Electronics and Communication (EC).
Renewable Energy, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in solar industry service operations or technical roles.
Proven leadership experience managing service teams or field technicians.
Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, and monitoring systems.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and customer service skills.
