Service Engineer

with experience in the

In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD)

field. The ideal candidate will provide technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for IVD equipment installed at client sites. This role is crucial in ensuring the optimal functionality and performance of diagnostic instruments and enhancing client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

:

Installation, calibration, and maintenance of IVD diagnostic equipment at customer locations. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair IVD instruments, ensuring minimal downtime. Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers, addressing queries and equipment issues. Train laboratory staff on the operation, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment. Collaborate with the sales team to conduct pre-installation site assessments. Document all service activities and maintain accurate service logs and reports. Assist in developing and updating user manuals and service protocols. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and equipment improvements. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements during all service activities.

Qualifications and Skills

:

Diploma/Degree in B.Tech, or a related field. Minimum 2-4 years of experience in the IVD industry or medical equipment servicing. Strong technical knowledge of IVD instruments such as biochemistry analyzers, hematology analyzers, and immunoassay systems. Proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining medical diagnostic equipment. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and internal teams. Ability to travel extensively and work flexible hours as per customer requirements. Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
