Job Summary

The Jr. Service Engineer will be responsible for supporting installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance activities at customer sites. The role requires strong technical understanding, hands-on experience, and the ability to coordinate with senior engineers for troubleshooting and machine support.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in installation, commissioning, and servicing of concrete brick, block, and paver-making machines. Attend breakdown calls and perform preventive maintenance under senior engineer guidance. Support troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to ensure smooth machine operations. Conduct regular inspections, lubrication, alignment, and replacement of wear parts as per maintenance schedule. Maintain proper documentation including service reports, daily activity logs, and checklists. Follow safety protocols, site discipline, and ensure smooth interaction with customer teams. Communicate technical findings to senior engineers and assist customer operators during service visits.

Requisite Skills

Hands-on experience with installation tools, equipment, and basic troubleshooting. Quick learner with strong technical understanding. Good communication and customer-handling skills. Ability to travel extensively across India (approx. 75% travel). Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Desired Skills

Mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving abilities. Customer service-oriented approach. Ability to understand local languages; English communication is an added advantage.

Education

Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical BE / B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical

Experience

Minimum

3 years total experience

at least 2 years in a relevant industry

(machinery, heavy equipment, industrial machines, manufacturing equipment, etc.)
