We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer with solid experience in servicing, maintenance, and calibration of process instruments and field automation equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in instrumentation related to flow, level, and pressure measurement systems, along with exposure to water distribution projects, pipeline erection, and PLC-based automation systems.
Key Responsibilities
Perform servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of process instruments including flow meters, level transmitters, pressure transmitters, and control valves.
oExecute installation, configuration, and field hookup of instrumentation systems in industrial and water distribution projects.
oCarry out pipeline erection supervision and ensure proper integration of field instruments with control systems.
oConduct calibration activities for flow, level, and pressure instruments, maintaining accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
oSupport PLC automation integration and ensure seamless operation of field devices with control panels.
oPrepare and maintain accurate service reports, calibration records, and maintenance logs.
oCoordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely project execution and after-sales service support.
Required Skills
Strong technical knowledge of process instrumentation and field automation.
oHands-on experience in valve servicing, instrument calibration, and PLC systems.
oGood understanding of water distribution systems and industrial pipelines.
oAbility to read and interpret instrumentation diagrams and wiring schematics.
oStrong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
oExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
Educational Qualifications
ITI, Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Telecommunication
oB.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or Instrumentation Engineering
Other Requirements
oWillingness to travel to customer sites for installation and servicing work.
oPreference for candidates outside Chennai and south India (Accommodation provided).
