Job Title: Service Engineer
1. Overview:
The Service Engineer is an integral part of our technical support team, responsible for providing outstanding service to our clients by ensuring the optimal performance of our products. The primary objective of this role is to troubleshoot equipment issues, perform routine maintenance and repair tasks, and deliver exceptional customer support. The Service Engineer acts as a key liaison between our customers and the company, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to safety standards.
2. Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to equipment and systems in a timely manner.
  • Perform regular maintenance checks and repairs on equipment as scheduled or requested by clients.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to improve product performance and reliability.
  • Document service activities and findings in detailed service reports and technical documentation.
  • Provide on-site and remote support to clients, ensuring effective communication and satisfaction.
  • Train clients on proper use and maintenance of equipment and systems.
  • Maintain inventory of equipment parts and tools required for service tasks.
  • Assist in the development of service protocols and standard operating procedures.
3. Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Strong understanding of diagnostic tools and software related to equipment service.
  • Familiarity with automation and control systems.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations pertaining to equipment servicing.
  • Exposure to ERP systems for tracking service requests and inventory management.
4. Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a service engineering role or similar position.
  • Relevant certifications in technical fields are a plus (e.g., HVAC, Electrical).
5. Skills & Experience:
  • Excellent ability to draft clear technical documentation and service reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Experience with ERP systems for efficient tracking and documentation.
  • Strong command of the MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and presentations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
