Service Engineer - Power Electronics
Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer to join our team, responsible for the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of power electronics equipment, including inverters, battery chargers, and DC-DC converters. The successful candidate will provide technical support and training to customers, maintain detailed service records, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer satisfaction and engagement.
Responsibilities

• Conduct installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of power electronics equipment

• Perform diagnostics and repairs both on-site and remotely

• Provide technical support and training to customers on product functionality and best practices

• Maintain detailed service records, reports, and documentation using MS Excel and PowerPoint

• Coordinate with R&D and manufacturing teams for product improvements and technical feedback

• Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and effectively, particularly with PSU customers in the railway sector

• Collaborate with sales and support teams to enhance customer engagement and retention

Requirements
Requirements:

• Diploma/ITI in Electrical, Electronics, or a related field

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in the service department servicing power electronics/electronics equipment

• Strong technical knowledge of inverters, battery chargers, and DC-DC converters

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and documentation tools

• Experience in handling PSU customers, preferably in the railway sector

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Willingness to travel for on-site service and customer support

• Experience with railway power systems or government contracts

• Certification in power electronics or related technical training
