The Service Engineer is responsible for delivering timely and high-quality service support, attending breakdowns, executing maintenance activities, achieving service and revenue targets, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction while strictly adhering to company SOPs and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities1. Emergency Breakdown Support
Attend emergency breakdowns on a
24x7 basis
as per operational requirements.
Ensure quick fault diagnosis and minimum equipment downtime.
2. Service Call Management
Complete a minimum of
2.5 service calls per day
.
Achieve
at least 65 productive service calls per month
.
Ensure all assigned service calls are completed within prescribed timelines and MTTR standards.
3. Revenue Generation (Service-Driven)
Generate
?1,000 labour revenue per service call
, achieving a
monthly target of ?65,000
.
Achieve
?3,500 spare parts sales per call
, with a
monthly target of ?2,27,500
.
Actively promote labour services, spare parts, and value-added service offerings.
4. Customer Satisfaction
Maintain a
Customer Delight Index (CDI) of minimum 95%
.
Ensure professional conduct, clear communication, and quality service delivery at customer sites.
5. Service Reporting & Documentation
Ensure
90% Service Report (SR) closures
within defined MTTR.
Share post-service call updates with the Service Coordinator immediately after completion.
Maintain accurate service documentation as per SOP requirements.
6. Recovery & Collection
Support recovery of service charges and outstanding payments from customers.
Coordinate with internal teams for billing and collections, as required.
7. SOP & Safety Compliance
Strictly follow all
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
related to service operations, documentation, and safety.
Ensure safe working practices and use of PPE at all times.
8. Attendance & Discipline
Maintain
minimum 90% attendance
.
Avoid unapproved leaves and adhere to company attendance and leave policies.

Qualifications & Experience
Diploma / ITI / BE in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline
1-4 years of experience
in service, maintenance, or field engineering
Experience in
Strong troubleshooting and technical skills
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
Customer-focused approach
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations
Willingness to travel and work in shifts/on-call duties
