Service Engineer - ELV
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Service Engineer specializing in the management,
troubleshooting, and maintenance of ELV systems of building safety and automation
systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal
performance and compliance of Fire Alarm Systems, Gas Suppression Systems, Access
Control Systems, CCTV, and Building Management Systems across our commercial,
real estate, and retail industries portfolio.
Experience- minimum 3 - 5 years
Location
The role will be based at various commercial, retail, and real estate sites across
[City/Region - e.g., Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi NCR]. The candidate must be
flexible to travel between sites as required and be available for on-site service calls.
Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive PPM, CM, and RM, programming, and troubleshooting
services on both conventional and non-conventional Fire Alarm Systems (FAS).

Manage specialized Gas Suppression Systems (FM-200, CO2, clean agent
systems) ensuring functionality and regulatory compliance for critical areas such
as data centers, server rooms, and storage facilities.

Oversee Access Control Systems and CCTV, including card readers, biometric
systems, electronic locks, DVRs, NVRs, IP and Non-IP cameras, and integrated
security platforms.

Manage Building Management Systems (BMS) for monitoring and controlling
HVAC, lighting, power systems, and other building operations through
centralized automation platforms.

Maintain detailed service documentation and prepare compliance reports
(RCAs).
Required Qualifications

Technical Diploma or BE in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Fire Safety
Engineering, or related field.

Strong experience in managing and troubleshooting Fire Alarm Systems, Gas
Suppression Systems, Access Control Systems, CCTV, and BMS.

Proficiency with system programming, configuration, and integration; knowledge
of major system manufacturers and platforms.

Familiarity with fire safety codes and regulations, strong analytical and problemsolving skills, and ability to work independently under emergency situations. Knowledge of networking protocols, database management, and software
troubleshooting is a plus.

Excellent documentation skills, attention to detail, and strong communication
abilities for interfacing with building occupants, management, and regulatory
officials.
Working Conditions

Work in various commercial & retail building environments including mechanical
rooms, electrical rooms, control centers, and occupied spaces.

24/7 on-call availability for emergency response situations. Physical demands may include working at heights and in confined spaces. Strict adherence to safety protocols when working with life safety systems and hazardous suppression agents
