Position : Service Engineer

Job Summary

The Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic and IT-based systems such as CCTV surveillance, fire alarm systems, access control, networking equipment, and automation products.

This role requires providing both on-site and remote technical support, ensuring smooth system operations and high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and test systems such as CCTV, fire alarm, PA, biometric, UPS, and networking equipment.

Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.

Diagnose faults, replace defective components, and ensure quick restoration.

Coordinate with project/sales teams for proper system handover.

Maintain detailed service reports, installation logs, and maintenance records.

Deliver technical training and support to clients/end-users.

Ensure timely closure of service requests within defined SLAs.

Assist in testing, product demonstrations, and quality inspections.

Follow company safety, quality, and documentation standards during fieldwork.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech / ITI (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field)

Experience:

1-2 years in electronic system servicing (freshers with strong technical aptitude may also apply)

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in CCTV, fire alarm, access control & PA systems

Knowledge of IP-based devices, NVR/DVR configuration, and networking

Ability to interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams

Basic understanding of computer hardware & OS

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical & troubleshooting skills

Effective communication & client-handling ability

Independent worker with a teamwork mindset

Willingness to travel and work flexible hours

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
