Job Title: Service Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and systems at client sites or in-house. The Service Engineer will ensure optimal performance, minimize downtime, and provide excellent technical support to customers.

Key Responsibilities

Install, commission, and configure equipment and systems as per specifications Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventive servicing Diagnose technical issues and carry out effective repairs in a timely manner Respond to service calls and provide on-site and remote technical support Maintain accurate service reports, logs, and documentation Train customers or end users on equipment operation and basic maintenance Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures Coordinate with internal teams for parts replacement, upgrades, and escalations Support product upgrades, modifications, and testing as required
Required Qualifications & Skills

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, IT, or related field) Proven experience as a Service Engineer or in a similar technical role Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics Good communication and customer service skills Willingness to travel and work on-site as required Basic knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in field service or customer-facing technical roles Knowledge of relevant software, tools, or diagnostic systems Valid driver's license (if field-based role)
Working Conditions

Field-based and/or workshop-based role May require travel, flexible hours, or on-call support Occasional lifting of equipment and working in technical environments
