Qualification: ITI / Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, or related fields:We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Service Engineer to join our logistics team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial vehicles to ensure high uptime and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Conduct routine and preventive maintenance of commercial vehicles (LCVs, HCVs, trailers, etc.)Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and carry out repairs efficiently.Maintain service records, logs, and documentation of all work performed.Coordinate with drivers and the operations team to schedule and prioritize repairs.Perform inspections and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.Support breakdown services and emergency repairs on-site or on-road when required.Maintain inventory of tools, spare parts, and service consumables.Requirements:1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in vehicle servicing or a similar role.Strong understanding of automotive systems engine, transmission, braking, suspension, and electrical.Ability to use diagnostic tools and read vehicle service manuals.Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Willingness to work on-site, in workshops, and on-road when needed.Familiarity with commercial vehicle brands and systems (Tata, Ashok Leyland, Eicher, etc.) is a plus.Educational Qualification:ITI (Motor Mechanic/Automobile)Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile EngineeringBE/B.Tech in Mechanical/Automobile (preferred for senior candidates)What We Offer:Competitive salary based on experience and skillset.Growth opportunities within a structured logistics company.Training on latest diagnostic and servicing techniques.Dynamic work environment with field exposure.
