Key Responsibilities
Install, commission, and test
machines/SPMs
at client sites.
Provide hands-on troubleshooting and resolve technical issues (mechanical, electrical, automation).
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of machines.
Train customer operators/maintenance teams for effective machine usage.
Prepare service reports, document issues, and recommend improvements.
Coordinate with design, production, and R&D teams for technical support and feedback.
Ensure timely response to service calls and maintain customer satisfaction.
Support spare parts management and service revenue generation.
Adhere to company safety and quality standards during field activities.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of
mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation (PLC/CNC basics preferred)
.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently at customer sites.
Good communication and customer handling skills.
Willingness to travel extensively (domestic/international as required).
Basic knowledge of service documentation and reporting.
Qualifications
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics / Industrial Engineering.
2-5 years of experience as a
Service Engineer
in machine manufacturing, automation, or SPM industry.
Freshers with strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn may also be considered for trainee roles.
