Job Summary

IBO Infotech Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer to handle installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure and security solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in computer hardware, networking, surveillance systems, servers, and cloud support, with the flexibility to travel and relocate across Kerala based on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware, peripherals, and operating systems Provide on-site and remote support for desktop, laptop, and server systems Install and maintain LAN/WAN networks, structured cabling, switches, routers, and firewalls Configure and manage VLANs, network segmentation, and basic routing Installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV systems, NVR/DVR, IP cameras, and surveillance networks Setup and support of biometric attendance and access control systems Install, configure, and support servers and storage solutions (Windows Server, NAS/SAN) Handle virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, basic virtual machine management) Provide AWS support including basic EC2, storage, backup, and monitoring activities Perform printer installation and troubleshooting (network printers, scanners, MFPs) Implement and support cybersecurity solutions, including antivirus, endpoint protection, firewall policies, and basic security audits Perform system health checks, preventive maintenance, and upgrades Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues within SLA timelines Coordinate with vendors and OEMs for warranty, replacements, and escalations Prepare service reports, documentation, and maintain asset records Ensure customer satisfaction through professional communication and timely resolution
Technical Skills & Expertise

Qualifications

Diploma / Degree in Computer Hardware, Networking, IT, or related field Minimum 3 years of relevant experience preferred Relevant technical certifications will be an added advantage

Willingness to travel extensively across Kerala Willing to relocate anywhere in Kerala as per business needs Must possess a two-wheeler with a valid driving license Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Good communication and customer-handling skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
