Service Engineer

in a

Water and Wastewater Treatment Company

(STP, ETP, RO, UF, ZLD projects):

1. Installation & Commissioning

Carry out installation, testing, and commissioning of water and wastewater treatment plants at client sites. Assemble and set up equipment such as pumps, blowers, chemical dosing systems, RO skids, and filtration units. Ensure systems are operating according to design parameters and client requirements. Prepare commissioning reports and handover documentation.

2. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of STP, ETP, RO, UF, and ZLD plants. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues on-site. Ensure optimal operation of pumps, motors, valves, blowers, chemical dosing, and instrumentation systems. Maintain maintenance logs and service records for all client sites.

3. Customer Support & Training

Provide on-site training to client operators for proper plant operation and maintenance. Respond to client service requests promptly and resolve operational issues efficiently. Offer technical advice and recommendations to enhance plant performance. Maintain a professional relationship with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.

4. Documentation & Reporting

Prepare service reports, daily work reports, and site visit reports. Record equipment readings, chemical consumption, and performance parameters. Document spare parts usage and coordinate with procurement for replacements. Maintain service manuals, checklists, and preventive maintenance schedules.

5. Compliance & Safety

Ensure all service activities comply with safety standards and environmental regulations. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow site safety protocols. Ensure proper handling and storage of chemicals during service visits.

6. Skills & Qualifications

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation / Environmental Engineering. 1-5 years' experience in water/wastewater treatment plant service or process equipment maintenance. Knowledge of STP, ETP, RO, UF, MBR, and ZLD plant operations. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process issues on-site. Strong communication skills and customer-oriented approach. Familiarity with basic tools, instrumentation, and preventive maintenance procedures.

Pay: ₹8,863.79 - ₹37,974.09 per month
