Location: Idukki, Kolkata (with travel across nearby districts based on the requirement)

Industry: Industrial Machinery & Dairy Equipment Manufacturing

Reports To: Service Head (Pan India)

Salary: ₹15,000 - ₹25,000 per month ( Based on the experience and performance)

Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Service Engineer to join our team in Idukki. The Service Engineer will be responsible for installation, servicing, technical demonstrations, and spare parts support for the machines sold. The role involves supporting both dealers and direct customers in the assigned region.

This position requires frequent travel across Idukki and nearby districts if needed, ensuring timely service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out installation, servicing, and maintenance of machines at customer sites. Provide technical demonstrations and training to customers and dealers. Attend to service requests, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide timely solutions. Manage and support spare parts requirements and ensure proper stock availability. Maintain accurate service logs, customer reports, and spare part usage in Excel/Google Sheets. Support both dealers and direct customers with professional technical assistance. Work in close coordination with the Service Head and follow all standard processes. Ensure systematic reporting and documentation of all service activities.
Candidate Requirements

Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Electronics or a related technical field. Experience: 1-4 years of experience in service/technical support (preferably in machinery or equipment industry). Languages: Fluency in English. Good knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets for reporting and stock management. Ability to travel frequently as required. Strong problem-solving skills and customer service orientation. Organized, reliable, and capable of working independently.
