Job Description

The Service Engineer for WOOD & STONE CNC Machines will be responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and repair services for CNC machines. The role involves ensuring optimal machine performance, minimizing downtime, and providing training and support to customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in CNC machinery, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation

- Install of STONE CNC machines at customer sites.

- Ensure proper setup, calibration, and alignment of machines according to specifications.

- Conduct initial testing and troubleshooting to ensure machines are operational.

2. Maintenance and Repairs:

- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.

- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues.

- Replace or repair defective parts and components as needed.

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

3. Technical Support:

- Provide remote and on-site technical support to customers.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine operation, programming, and performance.

- Assist customers with machine setup, programming, and operation.

4. Training:

- Conduct training sessions for customers on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of STONE CNC machines.

- Provide technical guidance and support to customers to ensure proper use of equipment.

5. Documentation:

- Prepare and submit detailed service reports, including issues encountered, actions taken, and recommendations.

- Maintain up-to-date documentation of machine configurations, maintenance schedules, and service history.

6. Customer Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.

- Address customer concerns and provide timely solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.

- Follow up with customers to ensure issues are resolved and machines are functioning properly.

7. Compliance and Safety:

- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.

- Promote a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.

8. Continuous Improvement:

- Stay updated with the latest advancements in CNC technology and STONE machine updates.

- Provide feedback to the engineering and product development teams to improve machine performance and reliability.

Qualifications:

- Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

- Relevant certifications in CNC machinery or related fields are a plus.

- Experience:

- Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in servicing CNC machines, preferably STONE CNC machines.

- Strong knowledge of CNC machine operation, programming, and maintenance.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
