Position Overview

The

Service Engineer

is responsible for providing

installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services

for Leister's range of products. This role requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on skills, and the ability to interact with customers professionally to ensure smooth operation and after-sales satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Perform installation, commissioning, and calibration of Leister machines and systems at customer sites. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues on Leister products. Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure optimal machine performance. Provide technical training and demonstrations to customers and internal teams. Coordinate with the sales and logistics teams for spare parts and warranty-related activities. Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance logs, and customer records. Support service documentation, process improvements, and feedback reporting. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company protocols during all service operations. Handle customer complaints professionally, ensuring timely resolution and high satisfaction levels.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.

Experience:

4-6 years in technical service, maintenance, or field support (preferably in industrial equipment, tools, or machinery). Strong technical and analytical skills in electro-mechanical systems. Hands-on experience with soldering, calibration, testing, and diagnostics tools. Excellent communication, customer handling, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage field service schedules. Proficiency in MS Office, service reporting tools, and basic documentation. Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
