We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated UPS Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems within our facilities. The UPS Service Engineer will play a crucial role in minimizing downtime, optimizing system performance, and contributing to the overall reliability of our power infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
Installation and Commissioning:
Install, configure, and commission UPS systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and engineering standards.
Conduct on-site testing and validation to ensure UPS systems meet performance criteria.
Preventive Maintenance:
Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for UPS systems.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
Troubleshooting and Diagnostics:
Diagnose and resolve UPS system faults and failures promptly to minimize downtime.
Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify root causes of issues and implement corrective actions.
Upgrades and Modifications:
Plan and execute upgrades or modifications to existing UPS systems to enhance performance and reliability.
Stay informed about technological advancements in UPS systems and recommend upgrades accordingly.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all UPS systems, including installation records, maintenance logs, and service reports.
Provide detailed reports to management on the status of UPS systems and any recommended improvements.
Training:
Conduct training sessions for internal staff on the proper use, care, and basic troubleshooting of UPS systems.
Stay informed about industry best practices and share knowledge with the team.
Emergency Response:
Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide immediate support to resolve critical UPS system issues.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure a coordinated response during emergencies.
Vendor Coordination:
Work closely with UPS system vendors and suppliers to obtain technical support, spare parts, and firmware updates.
Manage relationships with external service providers and coordinate service visits as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a UPS/Power Service Engineer or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of UPS systems, electrical systems, and power distribution.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
