The Service Engineer (ELV & MEP) is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) and Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) systems. The role ensures system reliability, compliance with safety standards, and timely service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
ELV Systems: Install, test, and maintain systems such as: Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Public Address, BMS, and Networking systems.
Conduct routine preventive maintenance and emergency service calls.
Perform system configurations, software updates, and calibration.
Coordinate with OEMs/vendors for component replacements.
MEP Systems: Support maintenance and servicing of: Electrical panels, pumps, plumbing networks, lighting, and power systems.
Ensure all MEP installations comply with project specifications and safety regulations.
Assist in root cause analysis for breakdowns and suggest corrective actions.
General: Prepare service reports and documentation.
Provide technical support to project and operations teams.
Maintain tools, spare parts, and ensure timely closure of service tickets.
Coordinate with clients and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills
:
Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering.
Certifications (Preferred): Fire Alarm / CCTV / BMS OEM certification.
Safety or HVAC servicing certification.
Skills
:
Strong knowledge of ELV and MEP systems.
Ability to read schematic and layout drawings.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Basic computer and networking knowledge.
Good communication and teamwork.
