with Electrical or Mechanical specialization to join our CNC service team. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC machines and related automation equipment. This role requires strong technical expertise, customer-focused communication, and the ability to work independently at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
Perform
installation, commissioning, and calibration
of CNC machines (Turning, Milling, VMC/HMC, Laser, EDM, etc.).
Conduct
scheduled preventive maintenance
and respond to breakdown calls to minimize machine downtime.
Diagnose and repair
electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic
issues in CNC machines.
Troubleshoot and configure
CNC controls
(Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Heidenhain, etc.).
Replace and align machine components such as
, documentation, and feedback for continuous product improvement.
Provide
technical support and training
to customers on machine operation and maintenance.
Coordinate with internal teams for spare parts, warranty claims, and service scheduling.
Ensure compliance with
safety standards and service protocols
at all customer sites.
Required Qualifications
Diploma / ITI in
Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering
.
0 - 2+ years of experience in CNC machine servicing (freshers with strong fundamentals may be considered).
Strong knowledge of
CNC controls, servo systems, drives, PLCs
, and machine tool mechanics.
Ability to read and interpret
electrical diagrams, mechanical drawings, and service manuals
.
Hands-on experience with troubleshooting electrical circuits, sensors, power supply, motors, and mechanical assemblies.
Basic proficiency with
diagnostic tools
, multimeters, oscilloscopes, alignment tools, etc.
Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to travel for onsite service assignments.
Preferred Skills (Optional but Advantageous)
Experience with
Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi
control systems.
Knowledge of
robotic automation
or peripheral CNC equipment.
Understanding of
hydraulics and pneumatics
used in CNC machine tools.
Experience in spindle repairs or alignment using laser calibration tools.
