We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance and mechanical knowledge, with experience in manufacturing facilities. This role involves providing technical support, performing maintenance, and ensuring the optimal operation of equipment. The Service Engineer will work closely with customers to address their needs and provide solutions, making customer service a key aspect of the position.

Responsibilities

Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of various equipment including HVAC/R systems, hydraulic systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities and scheduling. Conduct analysis using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues. Read and interpret schematics to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions. Provide technical sales support by understanding customer requirements and recommending appropriate products or services. Operate scissor lifts safely while performing field service tasks at customer locations. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols, especially when working with high voltage or low voltage systems.

Experience

Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance. Familiarity with HVAC systems, hydraulics, welding techniques, and electrical systems is essential. Previous field service experience is preferred, along with excellent customer service skills. Ability to communicate effectively in English; additional language skills are a plus. Military experience is valued but not required; candidates with relevant training are encouraged to apply.
