Position Title:Service Engineer / Senior Service Engineer

EIPL Position Summary - Purpose and Objectives of the Role
Field Service Engineer is responsible for frontline engineering/Technical support, customer satisfaction and service revenues across the assigned territories and or assigned customers/customer segments, reporting functionally to the Area/regional service manager Main Focus and Key Areas of Responsibilities
Main focus and key areas include:
? Frontline engineering and product support : Product demonstrations, Installations, Training, Maintenance, trouble shooting and breakdown services.
? Customer satisfaction : Shortest response times, First time Problem solving, shortest resolution times, lowest cost per service visit, Friendly and productive relationships with customers and related stakeholders.
? Service Revenue generation : Annual service contract targets, Consumables sales in existing users.
? Sales contribution: Actively coordinate with cross functional sales teams for lead generation in the territory
? Compliance : to the company norms and standards of customer support, compliance to reporting Candidate Profile Knowledge / Experience
Divisional or BU Experience
Should have worked with medical devices primarily and with customers on the field
Experience / Track Record
? 1 to 3 years of total experience
? Exposed to medical devices trouble shooting and servicing
? Field working experience is desirable or should have the flair for travel and meeting customers on field.
Industries Experience
One or more of the following:
? Medical device / Optical / Opthal / Electro-Mechanical devices
Geographical Experience
Exposure to any one or more of Tamilnadu / Kerala / AP / Telangana /Karnataka
Management Experience
Not required Qualifications
Education / Qualification / Certification
A Diploma or a bachelors degree in Engineering ( Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical - with exposure to electromechanical devices,)
Language
Proficiency in English, Hindi and local language. Multilingual will be advantage. Pre-requisites and Next Career Steps
