Reporting To

: Deputy General Manager-Service

Primary Role:

A Service Engineer will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Molecular Diagnostics & Histopathology Instruments and provide Technical Support as and when required.

:

Install, configure, and calibrate molecular diagnostics and histopathology equipment at customer sites to ensure optimal performance and compliance with operational standards. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with industry standards. Provide on-site and remote technical support to laboratory staff, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Educate customers on the proper use and maintenance of equipment, including providing training sessions for laboratory personnel. Maintain accurate records of service activities, including installation reports, maintenance logs, and inventory management. Work closely with the sales and Application team to provide feedback on product performance and suggest improvements.

Job Specification:

Experience in the installation and maintenance of clinical diagnostic instruments like RT-PCR machines and automated sample extraction systems. Should have handled the Service of Pathology Products like Grossing Stations, Embedding Systems and ImmunoHistoChemistry and histopathology. Candidates should have knowledge of Pathology reagents and IHC reagents Extensive travel will be required.

Qualification:

BE/B-Tech in Biomedical/Mechanical/Electronics. Diploma Holders may also be considered with good experience in the Diagnostics Instrument field.

Experience

: 2 to 5 years, Preferably from Life science/Biotech industry
