Service Engineer
Exp: 2 - 6 Years
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware issues on various IT equipment such as desktops, laptops, servers, and other components.
Perform hardware installations, upgrades, and repairs, including tasks like soldering and de-soldering electronic components when necessary.
Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams, helping them understand and resolve hardware-related problems.
Conduct functionality and performance testing of hardware components and entire systems to ensure they meet specifications after maintenance or repair.
In-depth knowledge of hardware systems, components, and relevant troubleshooting methodologies and tools.
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of support processes, troubleshooting steps, configurations, and resolutions.
Work with other teams, including software and engineering, to identify root causes of hardware issues and implement effective solutions.
Ensure existing computer equipment is kept up to date and performs efficiently.
