- Vehicle Diagnostics and Troubleshooting:
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics on electric vehicles to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and software to pinpoint faults in electric and electronic systems.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop solutions for recurring issues.
- Routine Maintenance and Repairs:
- Perform regular maintenance tasks on electric vehicles to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Execute repairs on electric vehicle components, including battery systems, charging infrastructure, and electric drivetrains.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Customer Support:
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns related to electric vehicle performance and maintenance.
- Offer guidance and advice on best practices for maintaining electric vehicles.
- Conduct training sessions for customers on basic maintenance procedures.
- Software and Firmware Updates:
- Keep electric vehicles up-to-date with the latest software and firmware releases.
- Collaborate with software engineers to implement updates and improvements.
- Quality Control and Testing:
- Conduct quality control inspections on electric vehicles before and after maintenance or repairs.
- Perform road tests to validate the effectiveness of repairs and identify any additional issues.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of service and maintenance activities.
- Generate reports on recurring issues, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:
- Work closely with design and engineering teams to provide feedback on vehicle performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with other service engineers and technicians to share knowledge and best practices.
- Safety Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all service and maintenance activities.
- Implement safety protocols and procedures within the service department.
